Education
After graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a Master degree in Accounting & Finance (Accounting Honor Society), Katy Doan is pursuing her Doctor degree in Education Leadership, Executive MBA from Rice University (May 2025) and The Emerging CFO from Stanford University (April 2025). She got her MBA from Columbia Southern University at the young age of 23 years old with GPA 4.0. With her Undergraduate degrees in Business and Accounting, she also holds an CBP (Certified Bitcoin Professional), CCE (Certified Cryptocurrency Expert). She is pursuing her CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CFA (Certified Financial Analyst).
After graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Katy received an honor to come back her High School for the Gifted-Vietnam National University (top 3 in Vietnam) as the youngest professor. After getting the scholarship of Fulbright Master (3rd prize in Vietnam) and completing her MBA, she was also an MBA Professor, major in Accounting and Finance for some Universities in Vietnam (teaching in English).
Personality
As a perfectionist, Katy is dedicated, dynamic, creative and hardworking in everything she does, from her major job to her hobby. With her professional awards in Singing & Beauty Contest, she is a part-time singer, model, and Master of Ceremony for Houston TV Shows, Charity Events, Catholic Church Events… She also loves playing table tennis, soccer, swimming, gym, yoga in her free time. She loves traveling (40 countries-300 destinations) to practice her languages (Vietnamese, English, French, and working on her Spanish, Chinese), knowing more about people, culture, cuisine… She also loves doing voluntary & charity activities.

Katy Doan currently is the CFO with
more than 20 years in key Finance & Accounting positions such as Vice
President of Finance, Regional Controller in Power, Energy Oil & Gas,
Manufacturing, Construction, Government… With over 20 years of experience,
Katy offers a powerful blend of accounting & financial expertise and top
management perspective to her clients.
She was the Regional Controller for a
publicly construction & power corporation ($4 billion in revenue). She was
in charge of ERP system implementation & migration; month-end close; cost
analysis, budget & forecasting; Mergers & Acquisitions; project
management; warehouse management & consolidated financial statements for 85
branches & offices in US.
Katy started her career in finance,
investment, stock market and then public accounting. Katy has more than 10
years in public accounting experience & consulting CFO/Controller in
providing various services for small to mid-size companies from bookkeeping,
payroll, tax, financial statements, cryptocurrency …
She is a results-driven and analytical
accounting & finance leader with extensive experience in reporting,
financial management, strategic planning, cost/budget analysis, forecasting,
process improvement, inventory management, accounts payable and receivable,
benchmarking, performance management, compliance and regulations, and auditing.

LINH DOAN – PROJECT MANAGER
Education
With his high achievement in Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (top 3 in Vietnam), Linh Doan holds TOEFL IBT 100/120 and TOEIC 880/990 at a very young age, which helps him become one of 3 students in Asian countries got full scholarships in Erasmus Mundus Action 2 – AREAS+ from the University of Trento, Italy – Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science and graduated with GPA: 27.8/30.
He also holds a Bachelor degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University – Computer Science & Engineering Faculty-Honor Program with GPA: 8.5/10, top 5% of the whole Faculty.

As a Lead Consultant, Product Owner for Odoo US Accounting Enhancements, he works directly with CPAs to define features for the products; research, analyse and compare features from popular accounting software; define customer needs and implement the associated features to make Odoo’s accounting fit better with US standard: bank reconciliation, check printing, US GAAP Reports, budget management, managerial dashboard…; create product vision and roadmap; continuously add new features and upgrade to newer versions of Odoo; integrate with Bill.com to allow customers to send/receive money directly in Odoo.
As a Lead Developer, Product Owner for Odoo US Payroll, he researches and compares different Payroll calculation engines to integrate with Odoo; research, analyse and compare features from popular payroll software; design, implement and test payroll features.
As a Project Manager, Linh is also an expert in management. He recruits, interviews, assess senior developers’ performance and commitment in projects and also advises on career paths, making recommendations for promotion. Linh performs resource planning for all projects, manage member workload and resolve resource conflicts as well as mentors, trains, supervises training programs, assigning and evaluating trainers and trainees. He also provides accounting, payroll background and Odoo accounting training for new team members.

As a Gemini, Linh is a passionate, clever, result-oriented and hardworking with strong work ethic. He is smart enough to win prize in any competition he is, he gets all kinds of prizes from: IT, Math, English, Vietnamese Literature to Beautiful Handwriting… He loves singing, playing table-tennis, chess, gym… in his free time. He is a charming, smart and funny Master of Ceremony during his time in his University with all kinds of programs from Education, Singing Contest, Ceremony… He loves traveling (30 countries-250 destinations), he travels to all European countries, and joins concerts when he studied in University of Trento-Italy.
